We have been very honoured to be invited to join in a service of thanksgiving for the Queens Diamond Jubilee, when her Majesty accompanied by HRH Prince Philip visit Ebbw Vale during their tour of Wales at the end of April. The Lord Lieutenant of Gwent very kindly has invited the Elizabeth Cross holders to the service and to briefly meet with the Royal couple. I think Richard would be quite chuffed to see his parents all dressed to the nines and moving in such exhalted circles!! so the hat that had its outing at the Royal Garden Party last year will get another airing!
